We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with extensive experience in PHP. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative web applications using WordPress, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress sites.
• Ensure high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes.
• Ensure website security by implementing industry best practices;
  Conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot content issues, and monitor website traffic and metrics.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and interface with team members regarding technical issues and project progress.
  Stay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with PHP and MySQL, specifically related to WordPress development.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working WordPress pages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML);
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools;
• Experience with SEO best practices;
